What do I need to complete a talent profile?
A launch-ready talent profile requires email verification, a unique username, a resume, and an Orbit Clip. The information requested can vary by signup path, and each form will clearly show what is required.
How does identity verification work in Qatar?
Talent verifies with a valid Qatar ID (QID), while businesses verify with their Commercial Registration (CR). You can browse and begin building your profile before verification, but applying, hiring, messaging, and meetings require verified accounts.
Does it cost talent anything to use Orbit?
Talent do not pay to create a profile, apply, connect, or get hired. Any applicable business plans or paid features will be shown in Qatari Riyal (QAR) before a business commits.
How are freelance payments handled?
For contracts that use escrow, the business funds the agreed amount upfront and it is held by a Qatar-licensed payment provider. Funds are released milestone by milestone as work is approved. Contract terms, fees, and eligibility are shown before commitment.
How are meetings arranged?
Talent and businesses can request and accept meetings through Orbit chat. When the meeting integration is available for the engagement, Orbit provides the relevant meeting details so both sides have a clear next step.
How does Orbit handle safety and reports?
Profiles, Orbit Clips, and messages include Report and Block tools supported by community guidelines. Reports are routed for administrative review, and post-engagement reviews help keep both sides accountable.
Is Orbit available in Arabic?
Yes. Orbit supports English and Arabic for its Qatar launch. Payments and displayed business amounts are in Qatari Riyal (QAR).
