What is a video Reel?
A video introduction up to 90 seconds that replaces the static resume. Record it in the app, and it appears on your profile and in a swipeable feed that businesses browse — your personality and skills, not just a document.
Does it cost anything to find work on Orbit?
No — and it never will. Job seekers and freelancers never pay to apply, connect, or get hired. Businesses pay a success fee when a hire happens, plus optional subscription tiers and boosted listings.
Why do I need to verify my identity?
Trust is the whole point of Orbit. Talent verifies with their Qatari ID (QID) and businesses with their Commercial Registration (CR) — a quick document scan in the app. Until you're verified you can still browse and build your profile, but applying, hiring, messaging, and meetings are unlocked by verification.
How does escrow protect me?
When a contract starts, the business funds it upfront and the money is held securely by a Qatar-licensed payment provider. Funds are released milestone by milestone as work is approved — so freelancers know they'll be paid, and businesses know they'll get what they agreed on. All in QAR.
How do interviews and meetings work?
Request a meeting with one tap in chat. When the other side accepts, a Zoom link is generated automatically — no back-and-forth over calendars and links.
What are AI Matches?
Orbit learns what you're looking for and surfaces relevant jobs (for talent) or relevant candidates (for businesses) automatically — so the right match finds you, not the other way around.
Is Orbit available in Arabic?
English is fully supported today, and Arabic support is in active development. All payments are in Qatari Riyal (QAR).
What if someone behaves badly on the platform?
Every Reel, profile, and message has Report and Block tools, backed by community guidelines. Reports go to an admin review queue, and post-engagement reviews and ratings keep both sides accountable.
When does Orbit launch?
